NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Titans signed so many players in free agency they have no glaring need that must be filled in the NFL draft. Holding the 11th selection overall has Tennessee in position to make a deal.

With only six draft picks, a trade netting the Titans extra selections would allow general manager Ruston Webster to give new coach Ken Whisenhunt more help.

Webster says he sees a deep pool of talent allowing a team to trade down into the 20s and still find a player similar to what the Titans could draft at No. 11.

The Titans have rallied behind Jake Locker as their quarterback in the final year of his rookie contract, but the pressure to end a five-year playoff drought remains under Tommy Smith, the new team president Tommy Smith.
