Toolbox lockup brings charges for Wetumka man
WETUMKA — A Wetumka man arrested Tuesday is accused of locking a 16-year-old Weleetka girl in a toolbox for 16 hours and holding a heated screwdriver against her body.
Christopher Kyle Lewis , 23, was booked into the Hughes County jail on charges of kidnapping and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
The girl was in the toolbox from 10 p.m. July 28 to 2 p.m. July 29, a prosecutor said.
