1. Class 4A’s No. 6 Star Spencer (7-2) at No. 1 Glenpool (9-0): This is the matchup that’s been anticipated all season in District 4A-2.

2. Class 6A’s No. 7 Mustang (7-2) at No. 4 Southmoore (8-1): Finally some clarity in 6A-1: The winner will be district champion.

3. Class 6A’s No. 6 Bartlesville (8-1) at No. 3 Broken Arrow (7-2): More than anything, this is a chance for the Bruins to prove they belong near the top of 6A.

4. Class 2A’s No. 2 Davis (9-0) at No. 8 Plainview (8-1): Another district-deciding game, this one in 2A-4.

5. Class 5A’s No. 8 Bixby (6-3) at No. 4 Tulsa Washington (5-4): Not much on the line here in the way of playoffs after Washington forfeited two games, but for the Hornets, this will be their championship game.

6. Class 6A’s No. 8 Del City (7-2) at Putnam City North (6-3): A Del City win and the Eagles play Edmond Memorial in the first round. A loss and Del City could face a rematch with rival Midwest City or miss the playoffs altogether.

7. Ada (7-2) at Class 5A’s No. 7 McAlester (8-1): The Buffaloes look to bounce back after losing their first game last week. Ada still has a chance at a home playoff game.

8. Class C’s No. 2 Timberlake (9-0) at No. 6 Deer Creek-Lamont (8-1): The premier game in eight-man this week will decide District C-3.

9. Yukon (4-5) at Choctaw (3-6): The records might not be terribly impressive but the winner — barring a Stillwater upset of Owasso — will go to the playoffs. A win would send Yukon to the playoffs regardless.

10. Newkirk (6-3) at Class 2A’s No. 5 Kingfisher (7-2): This game will go a long way toward sorting out a crowded top half of District 2A-1.

Thanks Yukon and Topeka for mentioning El Reno. You have two 9-0 teams in 5A playing for district championship and that's not worthy of being a top ten game of the week? You would think this late in the season the top ten games would consist of district championships and playoff contendors. Tulsa Washington... their coach and A.D. decided their fate without consulting with the rest of the team! Their games shouldn't get any press, nor should Jenks. They don't play by the rules. I know one thing, NewsOK will miss one heck of a game in El Reno this Friday night. GO INDIANS!

David, You should be complaining about the number 5 game Bixby and Tulsa Washington. That's El Reno's class and TW can't even play in the playoffs, the game is just a gimmie for Bixby. Besides, these games as the rankings in this paper are the opinion of one person.

hmmm...7-2 mustang gets a #2 game of the week rating and has 2 losses, El Reno has no losses at all in 5A and is playing Duncan for the district championship there, and that game didn't even get ranked...Something is DEFINITELY WRONG here!!!
