Top court may hear Haskell Co. lawsuit on Ten Commandments monument

STIGLER — Haskell County commissioners plan to ask the U.S. Supreme Court to hear their Ten Commandments case.

Kevin Theriot of the Alliance Defense Fund , which is representing the commissioners, said he will ask the high court to hear the case within 90 days.

The monument — erected on the Haskell County Courthouse lawn in Stigler — can stay pending the outcome of the case, he said.
