Parker is hoping to make his decision in the next couple of weeks, saying he has no desire to let it drag out until Signing Day. But he has three official visits left, and Ole Miss remains on his list of potential trips.
Parker is closely watching what happens with the Texas A&M defensive coaching staff as well. He enjoyed his official visit to Aggieland, and Texas A&M remains in the mix. But secondary coach Marcel Yates had been Parker's primary recruiter, but Yates was hired as the new defensive coordinator at Boise State earlier this month.
And here's one more wrinkle to add to the drama for Clark and Parker. The two players were roommates at a Rivals.com prospect camp in the summer and have remained friends. They'll both be leaving in the next couple days for Los Angeles, where they'll play in the Semper Fidelis All-America game — and could be roommates once again.
So the futures of Oklahoma's top two recruits could be hashed out this week in a California dorm room.
