Top seed Oklahoma State beats rival Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Zach Fish hit a grand slam and knocked in six runs to help top seed Oklahoma State defeat Oklahoma 13-4 in the Big 12 baseball tournament Wednesday in Oklahoma City.

Fish's blast highlighted a six-run bottom of the sixth inning. Donnie Walton, Gage Green and Craig McConaughy each added three hits for the Cowboys (42-14).

Vince Wheeland got the win to improve to 9-0 on the season. The reliever pitched the final 4 1/3 innings and allowed one run on four hits.

Craig Aikin had four hits for Oklahoma (28-28). Sheldon Neuse and Anthony Hermelyn each had two.

Oklahoma led 3-2 before the Cowboys exploded for 11 runs in their final four innings.

Oklahoma had 11 hits but left 12 on base.
