Tornado Reports
In what may become known as one of the worst outbreaks of tornadoes in state history, Monday's numerous twisters built rapidly.
The first instance of severe
weather came about 5 p.m.,
when a tornado was seen
near Cyril
At 5:21 p.m., a tornado
was reported west of Cyril,
and at 5:28 p.m., a tornado
was reported three miles
northwest of Cyril.
At 5:35 p.m., a tornado
was spotted three miles south
of Roosevelt
At 5:55 p.m., a large tornado was seen two miles
north of Laverty.
The large storm system
that spawned those funnels
continued to move east and
northeast. There was a tornado at 6:40 near Middleberg
At 7:47 p.m., a multiple
vortex tornado was on the
ground crossing State Highway 152, 10 miles west of
Minco.
