Tourism revenue a bright spot

M ORE people staying close to home for vacation was good for Oklahoma ’s tourism industry last fiscal year. In fact, tourism officials recently reported tourism dollars were up 6.5 percent to $6.1 billion. That’s great news for a state hurting from national economic woes.
