Toys for Tots volunteers surprise Norman schoolchildren
NORMAN — Volunteers with the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program on Tuesday surprised children at Madison Elementary School with presents.
Shelly Hickman, spokeswoman for the Norman School District , said the group selected Madison , 500 James St., for a gift drive because of the large number of low-income families with children at the school. A total of 629 presents were given away.
