Trading places: OU's Lewis successfully moves to linebacker from running back

NORMAN — Travis Lewis romped through defenses as a high school running back at San Antonio 's Robert E. Lee High .

He ran for 1,436 yards as a senior. He ran for nine touchdowns, too. He ran well enough to earn an invitation to the Army All-American Game.

Yet most everyone agreed: Lewis was a linebacker.
