Four wrecks on state roadways Friday and Saturday claimed the lives of five people, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Dead are:

•Uriel Franco-Lopes, 24, Heavener, and George Thomas Davis, 54, Poteau
Franco-Lopes was driving south on U.S. 59 near Howe about 3:50 p.m. when his sport utility vehicle began to hydroplane, crossing the center line and crashing into a pickup driven by Davis, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Franco-Lopes was pinned for 30 minutes before being freed by firefighters. He died at the scene. Davis was pinned for 40 minutes before he was freed. He died at the scene as well, troopers said.
Another passenger, Tommy Lee Davis, 13, of Las Vegas, was taken to Sparks Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., in stable condition, troopers said.
Franco-Lopes was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
•Unidentified person
A person died in Okmulgee County north of Schulter when a tractor-trailer rig caught fire after slamming into a bridge guardrail, the patrol said.
Authorities do not know the person's identity.
About 4:45 p.m., the person was driving a 2001 Peterbilt north on U.S. 75 at Cedar Road when it went off the road and struck the guardrail, winding up on top of it and sliding about 90 feet, the patrol said. The rig then came off the railing and came to rest in the median ravine.
The rig caught fire, and the cab was destroyed, the patrol said.
Troopers said they did not know whether the person was wearing a seat belt.
•Nathan Burris, 20, Ada
Burris died when he was thrown from his out-of-control motorcycle in Pontotoc County, the patrol said.
He was westbound on State Highway 1 a mile east of Ada when the motorcycle went off the road to the right and rolled, throwing him about 85 feet, the patrol said.
Burris died at the scene of the wreck, which occurred about 7:30 p.m.
He was not wearing a helmet, the patrol said.
•Carl Boston, 47, Macomb
Boston died at an Oklahoma City hospital about 71/2 hours after a one-vehicle rollover accident in Pottawatomie County, the patrol said.
About 9:05 a.m., he was driving on 180th Street near Etowah when the sport utility vehicle ran off the road, struck a ditch and rolled twice, ejecting him, the patrol said. He was taken to OU Medical Center, where he later died.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
