Authorities reported crashes Friday in Oklahoma City and Creek County that left two people dead.

Unidentified driver, Oklahoma City

A fatal crash was reported early Friday in northeast Oklahoma City, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said. About 5 a.m., in the 17000 block of State Highway 66 west of Triple XXX Road, a driver apparently left the roadway and hit a tree. The name of the driver was not released Friday.

Jarrod Wolfe, 35, of Sand Springs

Wolfe was driving south on Highway 97 with Mykael Farris, 25, and an unidentified 10-year-old on Friday in Creek County when a car driven by George Jones, 46, crossed the center median and hit Wolfe’s car on the driver’s side, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Farris was pinned for about 10 minutes before the Sapulpa Fire Department freed the vehicle’s occupants.

Wolfe was pronounced dead at the scene. Farris, Jones and the child were taken to a Tulsa hospital.

All four were wearing their seat belts, the patrol reported.
