Could you please tell me why the Turnpike Authority had the cable barriers installed a little over a year ago (I think) when they must have already been planning the widening project on the turnpike? They spent all of that money putting up the cables and now they have all been torn out. What a waste of money. Since I am sure they already had the plans in place for the widening, why didn't they just wait? It is no wonder that they keep raising the toll fee.
