Training session
Oklahoma Lawyers for Children has scheduled a training session for persons willing to volunteer to do home studies for foster care parents in Oklahoma County.
The training session is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday in the 4th Floor conference room of the Oklahoma County Juvenile Justice Center, 5905 N Classen Blvd., in Oklahoma City.
People interested in volunteering should call the organization at 232-4453 so the group can begin a required criminal background check.
Volunteers will be trained on applicable confidentiality laws as well as how to do home studies.
