On his prediction for Thunder-Nuggets

I think the Thunder will win in five. It's a bad matchup for Denver. No one really solid to cover Durant. The Thunder has tough guards that can match up with the Nuggets' little point guards. And the Thunder is now just as tough inside as the Nuggets.

On whether basketball in Oklahoma will ever overtake football as the state's sport:

I wouldn't yet equate Thundermania with OU playing for a national title. But it's gaining fast. I think Thundermania is quite the phenomenon. But the Thunder hasn't even won a playoff series yet, so let's wait a little bit. If the Thunder wins a couple of playoff series, watch out. Then the lid will blow on Oklahoma.
