Owasso country music star and TV personality Trisha Yearwood appears on tonight’s episode of  the reality series “Who Do You Think You Are,” airing at 8 p.m. on TLC.

The Grammy winner traces the paternal side of her family in tonight’s episode, and according to a preview video, discovers at least a few of her ancestors were thieves. Here is the official episode description:

Since her parents passed, country singer Trisha Yearwood knows little about her paternal side of the family. Her search for a deeper family connection takes Trisha to England, where she uncovers an ancestor’s history of crime, loss, and perseverance.

As previously reported, TLC has been airing eight new hour-long episodes of the Emmy-nominated series this summer. Christina Applegate, Kelly Clarkson, Cindy Crawford, Zooey Deschanel, Chelsea Handler, Chris O’Donnell and now Yearwood have been featured already. Jim Parsons will be featured on the Sept. 10 episode.

On “Who Do You Think You Are,” celebrities embark on a remarkable exploration of their surprising pasts, revealing unknown details about themselves and their families., billed as the world’s largest online family history resource, has teamed up with TLC as a sponsor of the season, according to a news release.
