Governor’s Trout Recipe
Gov. Brad Henry, a trout fisherman, shares his favorite family trout recipe:

Season the trout overnight in a mixture of water, salt and milk. Then, stuff the trout with julienne carrots and diced onions that are sauteed until softened.

Loosely wrap the trout in foil, adding butter, fresh cut lemons and selected herbs and spices to your liking. Grill the foil-wrapped fish and other ingredients until done.
