TU president Orsak to take leave of absence

University of Tulsa President Geoffrey Orsak has handed over day-to-day operations of the school, 73 days after taking office.

"The University of Tulsa President Geoffrey Orsak has been granted a leave of absence to attend to a very serious health matter of his father in Dallas," a statement the school released Tuesday evening says.

"In the interim, the university's board of trustees has authorized Executive Vice President Kevan Buck to manage the day-to-day operations of the university," the statement says.
