Tuesday will be warm and windy in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

Rain chances move in Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures will begin to drop Wednesday evening and fall into the 30s early Thursday.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 84. South wind 10 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 62. South, southeast wind 10 to 13 mph.

Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Partly sunny with a high near 73. South, southeast wind 8 to 13 mph.

Wednesday night: A chance of showers with thunderstorms possible after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 39. North, northwest wind 13 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.

Thursday: Showers likely mainly before 1 p.m. Partly sunny with a high near 49. Windy with a north wind 24 to 30 mph with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 34.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 57.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 41.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 63.

Saturday night: Mostly clear with a low around 44.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 65.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 51.

Monday: Partly sunny with a high near 74.
