Tulsa apartment fire kills 2, injures 3

Two people died from injuries they suffered in an apartment fire that also injured three other people Monday afternoon, Tulsa Fire Department spokesman Stan May said.

Citing police reports, May said two victims died at a hospital from injuries they suffered in a fire at the London Square Apartments, at 59th Street and Lewis Avenue, about 3 p.m.

Two young children and one adult were in serious condition when they were taken to hospitals. Two girls, ages 18 months and 5 years, were taken to Saint Francis Hospital, EMSA spokeswoman Kelli Bruer said.
