Tulsa completes second day of fall practice

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The University of Tulsa football team has completed a second day of workouts in shorts and helmets as they players prepare to put on pads for the first time this fall.

The Golden Hurricane worked out for two hours Sunday at Harwell Field.

Head coach Bill Blankenship says the team was better on Sunday than the first day of practice on Saturday — especially the younger players.

TU will put on shoulder pads for Monday's practice.
