Tulsa dentist accused of unsanitary practices surrenders license to state board

A Tulsa oral surgeon found to have possibly exposed up to 5,000 patients to HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C has been permanently barred from practicing.

On Friday morning, the Oklahoma State Board of Dentistry voted to accept Dr. W. Scott Harrington's offer to permanently surrender his license.

Messages left Thursday for Harrington’s attorney, James Secrest II, were not returned.
