Brian Grimm was named Oklahoma's teacher of the year at the State Fair in Oklahoma City today.
Grimm teaches English and pre-advanced placement English at Will Rogers High School in Tulsa.
Grimm, who has worked at the school for five years, is a graduate of the University of Science and Arts in Chickasha.
He will receive prizes including tuition waivers, use of a car for a year and about $10,000 in cash awards.
"This means so much to the school district and the kids at Rogers," Grimm said.
