Richard Roberts' appearance in court on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol was postponed Wednesday.

Roberts was not in court, but was represented by attorney Mike King. His next scheduled appearance was set for May 4.

Roberts, a Tulsa evangelist and former president of Oral Roberts University, was arrested Jan. 24 after an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper clocked him going 93 mph in a 65-mph zone on the eastbound Creek Turnpike west of U.S. 169, according to his arrest report.

The report says his blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.11, which is above the legal limit of .08.
