Tulsa federal grand jury issues child sex-trafficking charges

The Tulsa World reports that two men have been charged in separate child sex-trafficking cases in Tulsa federal court as local authorities continue their emphasis on prosecuting such crimes.

The charges against Damien Dinchie Wardell and Terrance Cortez Whitfield are among several indictments in unrelated cases that were issued this week by a federal grand jury.

Wardell, 39, was arrested at an east Tulsa motel on Nov. 22 on allegations that he used at least one juvenile runaway as a prostitute.
