A man who allegedly shot another man at a Tulsa apartment Tuesday and left with an 11-year-old girl was arrested in Muskogee about four hours after the homicide, police said.
Marquis Morris, 31, was arrested there about 10:30 p.m., Tulsa police officer Leland Ashley said. Morris allegedly shot and killed the boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend at the Fairview Apartments, 215 W. Fairview St., Ashley said.
The girl Morris was said by police to have taken from the scene of the shooting was located by police at a QuikTrip at 7600 E. 61st Street. It was not clear if Morris had dropped the girl off or if someone else had left her there.
