Tulsa man dies in accident

A Tulsa man died when his motorcycle crashed Sunday in Mayes County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Troopers said Matthew Alwin French, 26, was driving too fast to negotiate a curve on State Highway 82 when his motorcycle crashed about 11:05 a.m., just south of Spavinaw. He was northbound on the highway when the motorcycle ran off the road and hit a tree. He was wearing a helmet.
