SAND SPRINGS — A Tulsa man shrugged off a hit by a Taser and got into a fistfight with a police officer Tuesday after crashing during a high-speed chase, a report shows.

Robert David Ragland, 33, told police that he was on methamphetamine when he allegedly fled a traffic stop in a stolen pickup, crashed into another vehicle and then repeatedly punched a Sand Springs police officer who had used a Taser while trying to arrest him, according to the police report.

Ragland was arrested after two additional officers helped subdue him in a wooded area west of downtown Tulsa, the report says.
