Tulsa names Josh Blankenship as qb coach

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — University of Tulsa head football coach Bill Blankenship has named his son as TU quarterbacks coach.

Blankenship said in a news release Sunday that Josh Blankenship will join the TU staff.

Josh Blankenship comes to TU after working as head football coach at Muskogee High School for the past three seasons. He previously worked as offensive coordinator at Tulsa Union and was a quarterback at TU from 1990-2001 before transferring to Eastern Washington for his final collegiate season.
