Tulsa native and former All-Southeastern Conference lineman Bill Goldberg was heavily recruited out of high school, but says he ended up at Georgia for the "great time" and "great memories."

Some of those memories included a bottle of Wild Turkey, Goldberg said on The Ross Report podcast, hosted by major Sooners supporter and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross.

"What solidified my trip was a bottle of Wild Turkey that was handed to me as I was standing on top of a bar during my recruiting trip," Goldberg said.

It wasn't a far cry from Barry Switzer. Goldberg said that Switzer would drink a "Crown on the rocks within five minutes" after coming to Goldberg's house on visits.
