Tulsa police arrest man armed with machete

The Tulsa World reports that a Tulsa man was jailed early Tuesday after he was accused of wielding a machete and threatening police officers at an apartment complex.

Norm Ray Osteen, 42, was booked into the Tulsa Jail on assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer and assault with a deadly weapon complaints, jail records show.

An arrest report indicates that someone at The Place at 81 Yale apartment complex, 7907 S. Yale Ave., called police about 12:10 a.m. Tuesday claiming that Osteen was "acting crazy" and armed with a knife. Read the rest of this story at TulsaWorld.com
