A 27-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday by Tulsa police as authorities were serving a narcotics search warrant at a Tulsa home.
The man was in a bedroom of a residence in the 300 block of East Young Street when he was involved in a confrontation with police, Officer Leland Ashley said.
“When officers arrived, they entered the residence. There was five to six people inside the residence,” Ashley said. “Officers gave commands to the individuals. At some point, in one of the bedrooms, officers confronted a subject. ... An officer was forced to use deadly force.”
