TULSA — A student at Tulsa's Union High School has been arrested on a child pornography complaint after he allegedly posted a photo on Twitter of another student using the restroom.
Police say the 18-year-old student is accused of taking a picture of an underage, mentally disabled student in the boys' bathroom. The teen was arrested Wednesday afternoon.
A local television station reports that other students alerted school officials about the photo on Twitter.
The 18-year-old remains jailed without bond on a Peeping Tom complaint. He was also arrested on complaints of manufacturing and distributing child pornography. He has not been formally charged.
A spokeswoman for the school declined to comment on the specifics of the case but says officials take students' safety and dignity very seriously.
