Oklahoman Published: September 11, 1987

TULSA (AP) The FBI has arrested the last of three men accused of the Aug. 25 robbery of a Sooner Federal Savings and Loan office in Tulsa.

FBI spokesman Dan Vogel said Roy Russell Whittington Jr., 20, was arrested Wednesday in Bakersfield, Calif., and is being held in the Kern County jail.

Whittington, Charles Owen Williamson Jr., 35, and John Richard McGuirk, 25, of Tulsa were indicted by a federal grand jury in Tulsa last week on bank robbery charges, Vogel said.

The men are accused of entering the Sooner Federal branch and demanding money. There were no injuries and no weapons were seen, Vogel said. BIOG: NAME:
