Tulsa woman dies from Craig County crash

A Tulsa woman has died from injuries suffered in a Craig County, Oklahoma crash. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the crash was Monday.

A Tulsa woman died as a result of a Craig County crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

Mary Emily Walker, 82, died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at a Joplin, Mo. hospital.

Walker was a passenger in a car driven by Margaret Ann Walker, 52, of Miami. Walker is being treated for injuries at a Miami hospital.

Margaret Walker was driving east on the Will Rogers Turnpike in Craig County near Vinita Monday afternoon when she changed lanes to try to pass a tractor-trailer driven by William Gary Harper, 76, of Lanagan, Mo. The car hit the tractor-trailer. Harper was not hurt, the patrol reports. Seat belts were in use in both vehicles.
