Tulsans enjoy short commute
TULSA , Okla. (AP) — A study by the U.S. Census Bureau shows the average suburban commuter in metropolitan Tulsa takes less than 20 minutes to get to work.
City planner Theron Warlick says much of the credit should go to city planners who built roads in critical locations.
While Warlick acknoledges some exceptions, he says for the most part Tulsa has road capacity where it is needed.
