Tulsans re-elect Bartlett

Tulsans on Tuesday re-elected Mayor Dewey Bartlett.

Bartlett stood before supporters at the Jazz Hall of Fame about 8:10 p.m. and said he'd received a phone call from former mayor Kathy Taylor conceding the race.

"This is quite a night," he said With 49 percent of precincts reporting, Bartlett had 53 percent of the vote to Taylor's 47.

Bartlett will be sworn in to office for a second term on Dec. 2 and serve through 2016. Read more at TulsaWorld.com.
