CBS pushes back "Survivor” premiere
Scrap those "Survivor” viewing parties for Sept. 18, but get ready to schedule an extra-long gala for the following week.
CBS announced that "Survivor: Gabon — Earth's Last Eden” now will premiere Sept. 25 with what will be the first two-hour premiere in "Survivor” history.
As has been well-documented, the franchise's second trip to Africa also will be its first season broadcast in high definition.
The "Survivor” premiere will be followed by a rebroadcast of last season's cliffhanger finale to "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.”
