Don’t miss these game...
SATURDAY
Iowa State at Texas, 2:30 p.m. (KOCO-5/ Cox 8): See the Longhorns roll through a supposed Big 12 North challenger. Another day of preparation for Colt McCoy as the countdown to Oct. 7 dwindles.
Arizona State at Cal, 3:30 p.m. (FSN/Cox 37): Two of the Pac-10’s “other” teams battle for the right to push Oregon for second place in the conference.
Notre Dame at Michigan State, 7 p.m. (KOCO-5/Cox 8): Can the Fighting Irish bounce back from the loss to Michigan? Probably so, but it’s never easy in Lansing.
OR Southern Cal at Arizona, 7 p.m. (ESPN Gameplan): The Trojans travel to Tucson to take on Mike Stoops’ troops. Not an easy assignment for the Wildcats. Not easy at all.

You’re already on the couch, ...
TONIGHT Virginia at Georgia Tech, 6:30 p.m. (ESPN/ Cox 29): Reggie Ball can make the Jackets, or break the Hornets. Some games, he does both.
FRIDAY Northwestern at Nevada, 7 p.m. (ESPN2/ Cox 28): It’s Friday, it’s football, you might watch it. But why?
SATURDAY Wisconsin at Michigan, 11 a.m. (ESPN/ Cox 29): The Wolverines jumped in the national title race last week. Can they stay there?
Minnesota at Purdue, 11 a.m. (ESPN2/Cox 28): Curtis Painter continues Boilermakers’ pass-happy tradition.
