Twister causes damage in Roger Mills County
HAMMON — Five homes were destroyed and several others damaged Monday when a tornado passed through Hammon in Roger Mills County, authorities reported. The storm also destroyed a county barn and caused other debris about 6 p.m.

Today: Sunny in western Oklahoma and partly cloudy in the east. Temperatures from the 50s in the
Panhandle to 70s in
southeastern Oklahoma, forecasters said.
Wednesday: Clouds should increase, with a chance of light rain, possibly mixed with snow, in the Panhandle. Temperatures should range from the 40s in the Panhandle to 50s and 60s elsewhere.
Thursday: The Panhandle will have a slight chance for rain or snow showers, and the rest of the state could see rain Thursday.
