Justin Tyler Dewberry, 26, and Michael Dwayne Walker, 25, are accused in Cleveland County District Court of aiding two other people charged with first-degree murder in the Feb. 13 death of Patrick Burton, 51.

According to an affidavit filed with the charges, Dewberry and Walker waited in a vehicle outside Burton's home at 619 Villa Drive while Mary Courtney York, 19, and Christopher Cody King, 24, both of Del City, were inside the residence, possibly to rob him. An altercation between King and Burton resulted in Burton being shot to death, the affidavit states.

Besides murder, King and York have been charged with first-degree arson. They are accused of setting a fire at Burton's house to conceal the killing.

Accessory charges against Dewberry and Walker accuse them of helping conceal evidence of the murder “after the fact.”

Dewberry drove a vehicle away from Burton's house with York, King and Walker as passengers, the affidavit states.
