Two arrested in prostitution sting

A woman was jailed Wednesday on allegations she and her husband operated a house of prostitution near 31st Street and Yale Avenue.

A woman was jailed Wednesday on allegations she and her husband operated a house of prostitution near 31st Street and Yale Avenue.

Tulsa County prosecutors charged Aaron Wilkie Murphy, 39, and Hong Thao Murphy, 34, with two counts each of maintaining a house of prostitution within 1,000 feet of a school or church on June 27, court records show.

Tulsa police made a series of prostitution arrests at Midtown Massage, 4301 E. 31st St., as part of their investigation of the business, said Tulsa Police Sgt. Todd Evans.
