Two men were arrested Sunday afternoon after police got a tip that they were involved in the shooting death of a woman in northwest Oklahoma City.

Brandon Bates, 26, and Brian Cook, 32, were arrested at a house in Moore on murder complaints in the death of Lorinda Frans, 51.

Frans and her husband were walking to their car about 9 p.m. Friday at 1624 NW 15 when they apparently startled two men who were near the vehicle, and at least one of them fired shots.

Frans was hit and was taken to a hospital where she died.

Bates and Cook were being held Monday without bail at the Oklahoma County jail.
