The bodies of two men were found at a house seven miles north of Hartshorne about 6 p.m. Sunday, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported.

“We are not sure how they died,” OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said.

Brown said one man lived at the Pittsburg County residence. It isn't known where the second man lived, she said.

The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of family members. Brown said to her knowledge the men were not related.

The bodies were sent to the state medical examiner's office in Tulsa, she said.

A family member notified the sheriff's office, which called in the OSBI, Brown said.
