Two candidates filed Wednesday for City Council seats in Oklahoma City. Carolyn Sims filed for the Ward 1 seat presently held by Gary Marrs. Star Young filed for the Ward 7 seat presently held by Ronald “Skip” Kelly.

Two candidates filed Wednesday for City Council seats in Oklahoma City, said Doug Sanderson, the Oklahoma County Election Board secretary.
Carolyn Sims filed for the Ward 1 seat presently held by Gary Marrs. Star Young filed for the Ward 7 seat presently held by Ronald “Skip” Kelly.

The primary election for the Oklahoma City Council is March 5.
The general election is April 2.
