Crashes, arrest follow police pursuit in northwest Oklahoma City

A stolen vehicle crashed twice following a northwest Oklahoma City police pursuit.

A driver in a sport utility vehicle crashed about 9:50 a.m. at NW 10 and N Western Avenue, and then crashed a block east at N Classen Boulevard following a police pursuit, according to police.

In the first crash, the driver of the SUV hit another SUV then fled, Capt. Dexter Nelson said. No one was hurt in this collision.

The fleeing vehicle overturned and slid at N Classen Boulevard, where it hit a curb and landed upright. Two female passengers and the driver were taken to a hospital with injuries after the second crash, police said.

Dustin Orr, 30, was arrested on numerous traffic complaints and three felony warrants, Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.
