Two men were charged Thursday with escape after they broke a window to get out of the Delaware County jail before being recaptured Wednesday, authorities said.

Pete Wolfe, 51, of Pryor, and Anthony Anderson, 22, of Sapulpa were charged in Delaware County District Court in Jay with escaping from a county jail and malicious injury to property over $1,000.

Delaware County Sheriff Harlan Moore said the men were taken into custody Wednesday night by Mayes County authorities. They were returned to Delaware County jail later that evening. has disabled the comments for this article.
