Two die after separate wrecks on Oklahoma roads

Clayton Foote, 19, of Wetumka, and Kelly Treat, 52, of Park Hill, died Sunday after separate wrecks on state roads, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Two people died Sunday after wrecks on state roads, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Clayton Foote, 19, of Wetumka

About 4:40 p.m., Foote was driving a Jeep north on Hughes County Road NS 362 just south of County Road EW 129. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road, hit a bridge guardrail and rolled onto its roof.

Foote, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, troopers said.

Kelly Treat, 52, of Park Hill

About 12:40 p.m., Treat was driving a pickup east on Horseshoe Bend Road two miles east of State Highway 82 in Cherokee County The pickup went off the left side of the road and hit a tree.

Treat, who was wearing a seat belt before the crash, was taken by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital where he died shortly before 6 p.m., troopers said. has disabled the comments for this article.
