Two die in Oklahoma roadway crashes

One person was killed and five others injured in a crash Friday evening on the Turner Turnpike. In another accident, one person died early Friday in Lawton. Names of the victims in both crashes were not available Friday as authorities continued to search for next of kin. All that was released by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol was that the turnpike accident was shortly after 5:15 p.m. near Wellston. The crash in Lawton was around 5 a.m. and closed Interstate 44 on the south side of the city.
