Conrad was westbound on State Highway 10 in Craig County when his car hit an embankment, went airborne and rolled twice, according to the patrol. He was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The accident occurred just before 5:30 a.m., about three miles east of Welch.

Waymon Lloyd Barrett, 52, Cushing

Barrett was southbound on 3500 Road in Lincoln County when he overcorrected, causing his car to go into a slide, roll and then crash through a fence, according to the patrol. He was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The accident occurred just before 7 a.m. about a half mile south of 750 Road.

Marilyn Elizabeth James, 51, Morrison

James was driving a motorcycle on a private, gravel drive one mile north of U.S. 64 in Noble County when she drove off the right side of the roadway, striking a barbed wire fence, according to the patrol. James died on the scene and was not wearing a helmet. Troopers believe the accident was caused by driving too fast for the road type.
